# Entry Risk Score

> Entry-timing risk for 19 Binance USDT-M perpetual futures, LONG and SHORT, measured every 5 minutes. It answers
> "how risky is it to open a position right now, compared with this coin's own history?" It is a data service: it
> never tells anyone to open or close a trade, sets no targets and makes no promise of returns.

## What it is
- A Risk Score N/100 per coin and side: riskier to enter than N% of that coin's own moments (history up to 90 days). Not a probability.
- HIGH = Risk Score 80/100 or above (the coin's own riskiest 20% of moments); below that ELEVATED, then NORMAL.
- Three equally weighted drivers: 1-hour volatility (ATR %), funding rate crowding, the 4-hour move in the trade direction.
- Holding periods (profiles): 60 min / 1%, 8 h / 2% and 24 h / 3% adverse move, each scored for LONG and SHORT
  (score v1.1: 90-day within-coin window).
- A public daily ledger compares HIGH moments with all other moments, every day, including the days the score is wrong;
  each entry is hash-chained to the one before.

- Not a recommendation to open or close a position, not a forecast of direction, not a statement about open positions.
